IDoDoodlesToo is a Las Vegas based artist who works digitally, utilizing a variety of programs on his iPad. He has enjoyed exploring gay male sex and sexuality through his artwork since he began drawing again in 2019 after a fifteen year separation from artistic pursuits. Following an extremely large lifestyle change, his desire to create artwork came back and he has been drawing prolifically, working on developing his style and talent with great determination. He has been featured in publications including Barbequeer and The Art of Being Queer. His works have been displayed at the Tucson Erotic Art Show and he has had works accepted into the Erotica Heritage Art Museum in Las Vegas. He self-published The Gay NSFW Coloring Book, which is unfortunately currently not available due to the difficulty with certain self-publishing platforms repeatedly taking it down repeatedly over transgressions from technicalities that have been stated due to the self-publishing industry currently being very challenging for those publishing anything that is in the erotica category, even more so when it is gay erotica. He is self-taught and is inspired by capturing beauty in all types of men and portraying sex in a positive and healthy way in its many ways of being expressed. He strongly believes that creating and buying erotic artwork is incredibly important, and that the world would be a much more enjoyable place if people focused on becoming more comfortable with sex and sexuality, as it’s very difficult to imagine people who are happy and sexually comfortable and satisfied needing to exert non-consensual power over others. He has been heavily influenced by pop art, comic book artists and many different types of anime, and his style usually depicts a realistic portrait colored in a cell-shading style. He once posted on art communities including GayYaoiAndMore and Y!Gallery. He can usually be found with his iPad in hand, but when he isn’t working on his next depiction of a sexy man, he can be found with his two dogs, spending time doing his impression of a tea bag in a hot tub, playing video games on his PS5 or Nintendo Switch, or cosplaying one superhero or another at comic conventions. Artistic inspirations for him include Chris Bachalo, Joe Phillips, Rumiko Takahashi, Jim Lee and Ted Naifeh. He continues to pursue a positive environment online where gay erotic art can be shared and discussed in a positive, nurturing way.
